To accomplish our goals, the OIG offers a wide range of job opportunities, including positions like criminal investigators, auditors, evaluators, attorneys, writer-editors, and information technology specialists. The OIG also participates in the Federal Career Intern Program, a two-year internship designed to recruit talented individuals. Upon completion of the internship, participants may be considered for noncompetitive permanent employment. We aim to bring a variety of perspectives to our organization by recruiting employees with diverse educational backgrounds and degrees such as business, accounting, criminal justice, communications, or science.
