The Office of Information Technology oversees and evaluates DOI information technology and security programs as well as providing IT support to the OIG user community. The office implements, manages, and supports all IT functions for the OIG user community throughout the United States as well as Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands. IT is comprised of three divisions:

• The Information Security division performs evaluations on Information Technology and Information Security programs at Department of the Interior.
• The Information Technology division manages network operations and provides the technology-based tools and services necessary to support the OIG.
• The Information Management division designs, develops, implements, and maintains information systems for the user community within the OIG.
