U.S. GETS $2.3 MILLION IN FALSE CLAIMS CASE FROM CONTRACTOR AT GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK PDF Print E-mail

Phoenix, Arizona. The United States has secured a judgment in the amount of $2.35 million for false claims filed by Ernest McFarland, Jr. of Fort Myers, Florida, owner and president of Pacific General, Inc. (PGI). The false claims related to federal construction contracts at the Grand Canyon National Park and the Lake Mead National Recreational Area. The case was investigated by the Office of the Inspector General, Department of the Interior, and other agencies.
