Allegations of Inappropriate Overtime at the Bureau of Reclamation

OIG investigated allegations that a Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) manager authorized a dam safety engineer to work unlimited amounts of overtime. The complainant alleged that the overtime was unnecessary and was an effort to compensate the employee for a promotion that he did not receive. We found no evidence that the overtime was unauthorized or inappropriate.
