Allegations Not Substantiated that Business Received Contracts Based on False Certifications

OIG investigated allegations that an electrical service and supply company received contracts from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) by falsely claiming the company was a women- owned small business concern.

Our investigation did not substantiate the allegations. We confirmed the company was awarded three contracts with USBR, but the contracts were awarded based on the Set-Aside for Small Business preference not for women-owned companies as alleged.
