OIG investigated allegations of ethical violations by a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) associate field manager. The complainant alleged that the BLM employee may have improperly steered solar project applicants to an outside vendor for personal gain.
We did not find any evidence to substantiate improper conduct by the BLM employee. The employee had inquired about her husband working for a company with whom BLM was doing business and had been warned about the prohibitions associated with this activity.
We issued our investigative report to BLM for its information.
