Investigation of FWS IT Specialist

We investigated allegations that a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Information Technology program manager mishandled Government property, submitted fraudulent time sheets and travel vouchers, and attempted to sell marijuana in a Federal building. Our office reviewed the allegations—including interviews of the complainant, witnesses, office management, and the subject—and determined them to be unsubstantiated. Because the allegations made by the complainant could not be substantiated, we closed our investigation. We issued a referral memorandum to FWS for its reference in determining whether further administrative action is appropriate in this case.
