Investigation of Inappropriate Use of a Computer by a USBR employee

We investigated allegations that a Bureau of Reclamation employee accessed child pornography on a Government computer. We reviewed the employee’s network traffic and found no evidence of illegal material. We did, however, identify substantial computer activity that was inappropriate for the Government workplace. We provided the results of the examination to USBR, and the Bureau suspended the employee for 14 days.
