The U.S. Department of the Interior is the oversight audit agency for The National Wildlife Federation and Affiliate (Federation). The Federation hired Raffa, P.C. (Raffa), an independent public accounting firm, to perform its single audit for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2016.
We reviewed the single audit reporting package and related documentation to ensure Raffa conducted the audit in accordance with applicable standards, which include generally accepted Government auditing standards and generally accepted auditing standards, and that it met the requirements of the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CFR 200).
We found the Federation’s single audit for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2016, to be acceptable with no deficiencies.
