Description
We reviewed the U.S. Department of the Interior's Office of Interior Business Center's (IBC) efforts to implement the Data Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 (DATA Act), specifically according to the eight steps in the "DATA Act Implementation Play book" developed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. IBC's management is responsible for complying with the applicable guidance in the playbook.
 
As of August 31, 2016, IBC was on track to implement the DATA Act requirements by the Act's May 2017 deadline.
