We investigated allegations that a National Park Service (NPS) Program Manager used his Government-issued cell phone to view child pornography, sent inappropriate messages from his NPS email account, pilfered Government supplies for his own personal use, operated a home improvement business without NPS approval, and improperly claimed reimbursement from an NPS uniform account.
We interviewed the employee’s former and current supervisors, analyzed his Government-issued cell phone and laptop computer, reviewed his NPS email account, reviewed his Electronic Personnel Folder, and coordinated with outside law enforcement agencies. We did not find any evidence of misconduct and did not substantiate any of the allegations.
