ALBUQUERQUE – A Farmington woman was sentenced in federal court after pleading guilty to charges of failing to pay royalties owed to the Jicarilla Apache Nation, the Navajo Nation, and the federal government, as well as for submitting fraudulent oil and gas extraction reports and committing wire fraud.
ALBUQUERQUE – A Colorado man was sentenced to two years of supervised release and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $242,210 after pleading guilty to money laundering and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
ALBUQUERQUE – A Colorado man was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay $242,210 in restitution for defrauding a nonprofit organization funded by federal agencies, in a scheme that resulted in over $240,000 in fraudulent payments.

Washington, D.C. – Today, our office issued publicly the report of our investigation into the death of Bijan Ghaisar, a 25-year-old man who died after being shot by Federal law enforcement following a pursuit on the George Washington Memorial Parkway.
We concluded that the officers’ pursuit was consistent with USPP policies and that, in all but one instance, the officers’ actions during the pursuit did not violate USPP policies.
