Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Investigations
Edward “Ted” Baugh is the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Investigations for the U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Inspector General. Ted has been with Interior since 2002 and was previously the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of our Eastern Region Office of Investigations.
Before serving as the SAC of Eastern Region, Ted was the SAC of our Headquarters Operations, the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of our Program Integrity Division, and a Special Agent with both our Eastern Region and Program Integrity Division. Ted has dedicated his Federal career in law enforcement to leading and investigating allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement at the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Prior to joining the OIG, Ted was a Deputy Sheriff in Rockdale County, GA. Ted holds a bachelor of arts in political science and a minor in psychology.
