Deputy Chief of Staff
Michael Haberstroh joined the U.S. Department of the Interior’s (DOI) Office of Inspector General (OIG) in January 2025 as the Deputy Chief of Staff.
Prior to joining DOI OIG, Michael spent more than a decade with the U.S. International Trade Commission, serving as Counsel to the Inspector General and Assistant Inspector General for Investigations for the last 9 years of his tenure.
Michael earned a B.S. in International Business and Economics from the University of South Carolina and a J.D. from Antonin Scalia Law School.
