Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Management
Jason McConachy is the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Management for the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of Inspector General (OIG). He has over 20 years of experience in providing mission-support and management services in Federal agencies.
Before joining the DOI OIG, Jason was the Comptroller at the U.S. Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service. He has also held positions at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services OIG and the Administration on Aging. Jason started his Federal career in the Student Career Experience Program (now the Pathways Program) with the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration and as a Presidential Management Fellow at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Jason holds a master of public policy from American University and a bachelor of arts in political science from Eastern University.
